Who we are

The controller for personal data processed through this website is UFO Studios, the Netherlands. You can reach us at info@ufostudios.nl for any privacy question or request.

The short version

  • This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and contains no trackers, advertising or social media plugins.
  • It has no accounts and no forms. All fonts and images are served from this website itself, not from third parties.
  • Our hosting provider processes basic technical data (server logs) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • If you email us, we use your message only to answer you.

What we process and why

Server logs (hosting)

When you visit this website, your browser sends technical information to our hosting provider, such as your IP address, the page you request, the date and time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. This is needed to deliver the website to you and to protect it against abuse and attacks.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don't use this data to build profiles or to identify visitors.

Email

If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message, to answer your question or handle your request.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your request concerns one of our apps or your rights, taking steps at your request and meeting our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). We keep emails as long as needed to handle your request and for any follow-up, and no longer than necessary.

Hosting provider

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes the server logs described above on our behalf as a processor. Cloudflare runs a global network, so data may be processed outside the European Economic Area; such transfers are covered by the safeguards in Cloudflare's data processing terms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We don't sell personal data, and we don't share data from this website with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use similar technologies such as local storage for tracking. That's why there is no cookie banner.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict how we use your data;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a portable format, where that applies.

To use any of these rights, email info@ufostudios.nl. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We respond within one month, as the GDPR requires.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
